1.Model/Chathost/Host – What’s that?!

Lets first define what term MODEL or CHATHOST or HOST mean in a light of working on live chat websites. As I recall originally girls who would work on these sites were called CHATHOSTs, correct me if Im wrong. But it seems that now a days term MODEL is more popular, and I suppose that change happen on girls initiative couse what they really do online is more modeling then hosting:).
Dictionary says:
a person who conducts a program of entertainment by making introductions and providing continuity . Not so far from the truth. Just this conducting of program of entertainment is taking place online not on tv:).
Here is what dictionary says for MODEL:

if its adjective – constituting, serving as, or worthy of being a pattern to be imitated Nope, wouldnt say this fits- lol. Ok then lets check noun – a person who poses with or wears merchandise (as clothes) often for pictorial advertising OR someone of such unequaled perfection as to deserve imitation ???!!! huh!

Ive got lost with these explanations.  It seems we have to make our own. They obviously didn’t update dictionary lately. As I saw it on some site it says: ” How to Become a Chat Host Model” – it seems they couldn’t make up their mind either – hehehe!
Lets stick with a term Modelt- this is getting confusing!
Model is a person that works at live chat website, broadcasting its webcam or camcorder from its home (or where ever it is) and video chats LIVE with viewers. Performance in front of the webcam defers from site to site and from category to category. We will come to that later.
Simply- you’ve applied and was accepted as performer (chathost/model) at some website that offers “live video chat service” to their members, and you are at your home or some place you like to use as your workspace, with your computer and webcam, and you are video chatting alive with people who want to see you and chat with you. Here you go – you are Model
and earning money!
